This study explored the changes in photosynthetic characteristics of Fengdan peony under high-temperature stress to provide a reference for understanding tolerance plants heat stress. In this study, effects (40 °C) on leaves were studied. At 25 °C, net rate (Pn), stomatal conductance (Gs), and transpiration (Tr) decreased gradually with increase time, intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) first then increased. High-temperature reduced light energy absorption (ABS/RC) capture (TRO/RC), electron transport (ETO/RC), dissipation (DIO/RC) per unit leaf area. The maximum photochemical efficiency (FV/FM), performance index (PIabs), probability that captured excitons can transfer electrons other acceptors chain beyond QA (ψO), quantum yield (φEo), gradually. results showed high temperatures damaged capacity destroyed apparatus leaves. provides
